At Catapult, we like to associate ourselves with forward-thinking programs that have similar scientific values to us. The Center of Excellence in Sport Science and Coaching Education (CESSCE) at East Tennessee State University is the very essence of research-driven athletic performance.

The CESSCE creates and disseminates research, provides service to a variety of sports teams, and increases the preparation of coaches at the intersection of academics and athletics. They understand that coaches and sport scientists work best together, working hard to foster those relationships.

With the research done at the CESSCE, they perform applied studies around improving performance decreasing injury, and working closely with the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) to improve sport outcomes for all athletes.

The Center’s ninth annual Coaching & Sport Science College is December 5-6 with an excellent line-up of speakers and information on cutting-edge topics with high-level athletes.
