Catapult is pleased to be working with U.S. Soccer to provide an integrated program of monitoring for the Women’s National Team, Women’s Youth National Teams and the NWSL.
The U.S. Women’s National Team have been using Catapult for the past four years, including in-match use during the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
The partnership involves the systematic monitoring of all players as they pass through the development pathway at U.S. Soccer from the time they enter the youth national team pool all the way through to the senior national team and in their everyday professional environment. This integrated approach provides the best service to the participating athletes and allows for customized training plans for individual players.
Catapult’s President for the North American region, Brian Kopp, praised U.S. Soccer’s innovative approach to analytics across a broad range of age groups and teams, and shared Catapult’s excitement around working with today and tomorrow’s best women’s soccer players.
"We are extremely excited about our multi-tiered partnership with US Soccer," Kopp said. "We look forward to playing our part in enhancing and prolonging the careers of America's best women's soccer players, and we’re going to ensure every athlete and coach is getting the most advanced performance analytics."
