Fitness Analysis

minimax allows you to move beyond one dimensional heart rate analysis to measure the workrate of your athletes. Instead, you can choose from an array of metrics that give you the complete picture of how hard your guys are working and what its costing them to produce this effort.

Teams might use distance covered, number of sprints or PlayerLoad™ to monitor training volume, in conjunction with training intensity metrics like metres/minute, Repeat High Intensity Effort bouts, or number of accelerations. Coupled with physiological parameters like heart rate, you get to understand the balance between an athletes external load and internal cost.

Use minimax to find out exactly what the match demands are for each position in your team. For instance, a winger might be required to do 50-60 sprints averaging 25 metres or more, accelerating regularly at 3-4m/s/s in order to win the ball. Armed with this information, you can check to see how well your training is preparing him for these demands and make changes to suit.

minimax PlayerLoad™ index measures total effort – whether in free running play or tight congested movements. Use this to separate running and non running portions of workload. Rehabilitation
