Alex is a Sports Performance Associate for the US Midwest region. Based out of our Chicago office, Alex works with NCAA Division I, II and III colleges.
Raised in the Midwest, Alex grew up an avid baseball player. He went on to play collegiate baseball and earned two invitations to professional spring training. Alex has a Sport Management degree from Indiana University Purdue University and started his career with STATs. He and his wife Stephanie have a beautiful baby girl, Sophia.
Ali is our HR Manager in our Melbourne headquarters, playing a vital role in all Catapult recruitment and ensuring a smooth onboarding for new team members.
Ali is a HR & Talent Consultant at CRC Recruitment with Richard Kellaway, where many of Catapult's staff members have filtered through. Ali was previously the National Manager for Human Resources at HRG Australia, and Recruitment Manager at CRC Travel Locum.
Andrew is our R&D Manager in the Melbourne headquarters, responsible for the day-to-day operations of the team driving research and development.
Andrew has an extensive background as an Engineering Manager at Camatic Seating Inc. and Division Manager, Business Development Manager and Project Manager at Continental Automotive. Andrew has a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and rides around 80km to and from the office every day.
Anthony is our Senior Software Engineer in the Melbourne office, developing embedded C++ firmware for the entire range of Catapult devices.
Anthony has previously worked as a Senior Software Engineer at PRI Australia, Embedded Software Engineer at ION Automotive and Senior Software Engineer NEC Australia. Anthony has a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Computer Systems and was a professional golfer.
Barry is Catapult's global Chief Operating Officer overseeing Software & Analytics, Human Resources, Marketing and all of APAC operations. Prior to his role as the COO, Barry was the CEO of Catapult's EMEA region.
Prior to Catapult, Barry held consultancy, Non-Executive, advisory and Executive Coaching roles under BPM Performance Ltd, a strategic consulting and advisory business which he founded. Barry was also Executive Director at Prozone Sports during the merging with Amisco Sports, following 12 years in Managing Director and Business Development Director roles.
Benoit is a Business Development Manager for the Southeast Asia region, based out of Singapore. He is focused on building Catapult's brand and client base in the region.
Benoit has a Master's of Science in Sport Business Management and a UEFA B football license. Prior to joining Catapult, he was a professional footballer and FIFA agent. He continues to be a football commentator for Fox Sports Asia, Astro and Mediacorp.
Bevin is our Head of Corporate Development and Investor Relations, specialising in equity capital markets and M&A response and implementation.
Bevin was previously Vice President - Capital Markets at CIMB, and was previously Associate Director - ECM, M&A at Helmsec Global Capital Limited, Graduate Analyst - Corporate Finance at Deloitte, and Treasury & Commodities and Research Assistant - Economics at Macquarie Bank Limited.
Boden is our Director of Marketing, overseeing all communications, public relations, branding, social media, and Catapult workshops and events.
Boden was previously Head of Sport for Pagemasters, a sub-division of the Australian Associated Press, leading a team in the editing and publication of a dozen major mastheads. Prior to joining Catapult, Boden played professional basketball in Australia and claims to have dropped six threes on Kevin Durant in high school.
Brendan is our Product Performance Technician for the EMEA region, providing technical support for European clients out of our Leeds office.
Brendan has a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Sydney and a Masters of Science in Sports Engineering at Sheffield Hallam University, and has worked as a Goal Line Technology Tester at Labosport UK, a Grand Depart Exhibitor at the Tour de France and a Mechanical Design Engineer at Fenner Dunlop.
Brent is a Non-Executive Director at Catapult, as well as a Non-Executive Director at Fox Head Inc and Rhinomed Ltd.
Brent previously held several senior management roles at Nike Inc, including Vice President and Chief Executive of Western Europe, Chief Marketing Officer for Nike EMEA, and General Manager of Nike's East Coast United States. Brent was also part of Nike's Global Corporate Leadership Team.
Brett is Catapult's General Manager - Commercial, working across finance and operations in our Melbourne office.
Prior to Catapult, Brett was the Chief Financial Officer, and then VP Finance and Operations, at Sky Technologies. Brian is Catapult's President for North America, overseeing all operations for the region.
Prior to joining Catapult, Brian served as SVP of Sports Solutions at STATS LLC, leading all business development - including the SportVU player tracking technology that is installed in all 29 NBA venues. Brian was named a 2013 Idea Innovator by Sports Business Journal and has held leadership roles at Career Education, NAVTEQ, Svoboda Capital and Merrill Lynch.
Calvin is a Non-Executive Director at Catapult and Co-Founder of Aura Capital Group, an independent advisory and investment business with offices in Australia and Singapore. Prior to establishing Aura, Calvin worked at Everest Babcock & Brown, one of Australia's largest absolute investment managers.

Calvin is the North American Sports Science Manager, overseeing the Technical Sport Science team out of our Chicago office.
Calvin worked as a Performance Analyst at the University of California-Berkeley using Catapult and other analysis tools to help enhance their athletes. Calvin was also a Performance Analyst Intern for GB Paralympic Disability Shooting and worked for the British Olympic Association in the Performance Analysis Department at the 2012 London games.
Casey is a Sports Performance Associate for the Northeast, focused on introducing Catapult to coaches at the high school, collegiate and professional levels.
Casey comes to Catapult with a BA in Communications from SUNY Geneseo, where he played four years of NCAA Division I hockey. He also earned an MBA from American International College, where he was an Assistant Coach for the hockey team. Casey is an avid golfer and a devoted Buffalo Bills fan.
Chance is a Sports Performance Associate for the US, focused on introducing Catapult and GPSports to the elite high school market. Chance was an NCAA Division III basketball player for four years. He went on to find success in ticket sales with the Chicago Fire Soccer Club, prior to joining Catapult.
Originally from Wisconsin, Chance is an ardent supporter of the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Bucks, and Wisconsin Badgers.
Charlotte is our Communications Coordinator in the Chicago office, managing administration projects for our North American team as well as event management and digital communications.
Charlotte is a digital marketing and e-commerce specialist with an extensive background in fashion and retail, working as a Digital Communications Manager for The PAS Group, E-Commerce Coordinator at Pacific Brands, and E-Commerce Manager at Metalicus.
Chris is a Sports Scientist for the APAC region, supporting our elite clients in Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
Chris has had papers published in the Journal of Science and Medicine in Sport and the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research, joined us from the Victorian Institute of Sport, Australian Institute of Fitness, and Carey Baptist Grammar School, and has lived in every state in Australia.
Christopher is Catapult's Senior Legal Counsel and first in-house lawyer. Based in Melbourne, Christopher provides his expertise globally, overseeing legal affairs for each Catapult office.
Originally from New Zealand, Christopher earned his BA/LLB from the University of Auckland. His experience prior to Catapult includes roles on in-house legal teams and in law firms in Australia, the UK and New Zealand.
Cloe is an R&D Sport Scientist based in Catapult's Melbourne office. Her mission is to ensure that field staff have a positive experience with the technology. She provides training and insights to each of Catapult's regions on how to make the most of new and current product features.
Prior to Catapult, Cloe earned a BA in Exercise and Sports Science. In late 2015, she submitted her PhD, which focuses on GPS and micro technology sensors within elite rugby. A lifelong athlete, Cloe is also a published researcher in the area of GPS application in team sports.
Craig is a Senior Engineer with expertise in product design and over 15 years experience working within an intense design environment.
Craig specialises in plastic part design, FEW non-imaging optical design, embedded systems programming database management and previously worked as a Senior Engineer at McVan Instruments, an Engineering Manager at Catalyst Design Group and Senior Engineer at Neopurple.
Diana is an Electronics Technician in our Melbourne office, preparing quality and manufacturing documentation, testing hardware, maintaining service and repair protocols, and assisting in the development of engineering solutions testing of prototypes.
Diana is an instrumental member of our in-house production team, works closely with our research and development team to ensure quality control, and is an expert salsa dancer.
Ed is a Technical Sports Scientist in our Chicago office, responsible for client relationships in North America, demonstrations of the technology to prospective users, and installations for new Catapult teams.
Ed joins us from the University of Louisville Athletics, where he was a Performance Fellow - Technology/Analytics, using Catapult to objectively monitor their elite collegiate athletes and reporting to the Director of Olympic Sports Performance.
Emma is our Senior Applied Sports Scientist, assisting teams in data interpretation and analysis to increase the effectiveness of Catapult in preparation, load monitoring, injury prevention and return to play. She also leads OpenField education for the US team, out of the Chicago office.
Emma was formerly a Sports Scientist at the Victorian Institute of Sport (VIS), is a published researcher and loves snowboarding and rowing.
Ewan is our Sports Performance Manager for the US west coast, aiming to grow our collegiate and professional client base from Southern California to the Pacific Northwest.
Ewan is a licensed and former professional soccer coach, following the route after losing a fight with a moving taxi that ended what was set to be a promising (mediocre) playing career. He joins us from Global Team Events, Prozone Sports and UK Elite Soccer.
Glen is our Technical Support Engineer in Melbourne, troubleshooting software and hardware issues, isolating and identifying faults, and working with the development team to ensure issues are resolved and tested before release. Glen works closely with our Product Performance Technicians in each region to resolve all client issues.
Glen recently graduated with a Bachelor of Sports Engineering and is a keen mountain biker.
Glenn is a Firmware Engineer whose task is to take the measurements from device sensors and calculate useful and reproduciable parameters, through signal analysis and firmware implementation.
Glenn cracked the Questacon Centenary Code Challenge, lived in a mountain village in Papua New Guinea for two years without a computer, has built a Universal Turing Machine in Minecraft redstrone, and is the developer of Catapult's IMA algorithm.
Gregg is a Sports Performance Manager for the US Midwest region. He works with professional sports and power 5 collegiate teams, helping them to implement Catapult to improve athlete performance.
A native of Chicago, Gregg was Director of Pro Sports and Collegiate Athletes at reACT Trainer prior to joining Catapult. While with reACT, he trained Strength Coaches and Athletic Trainers. During college, Gregg was a walk-on for the football team at the University of Wisconsin.
Henrique is our Business Development Manager for the south of Europe and South America, utlising his football expertise to uncover data-driven coaches involved in the world game.
Henrique has held positions at The Football Association, Sport Lisboa e Benfica, Futebol Clube de Cascais and Challenger Sports. He also speaks five languages, his has Masters in Sport Management and Business of Football, and is a happy family man.
Hiwotie is a Technical Sports Scientists in North America, based in New York and enhancing Catapult data by working clients through their outputs, and improving their athlete management processes.
Hiwotie was previously an Exercise Physiologist at NYU Langone Medical Center, a Strength and Conditioning Coach for the New York Giants, Research Assistant at Columbia University, and Performance Coach at Cris Carter FAST Program.
Igor is Catapult's Chief Operations Officer, Co-Founder and resounding technical expert leading research and development departments.
Prior to Catapult, Igor worked as a Project Manager at the Cooperative Research Centres (CRC), where he helped lead a large team of engineers. Igor has also worked as a DSP Engineer with Reflex Communications, Design Engineer at Ceramic Fuel Cells Ltd, DSP Engineer at NEC Australia and HW Engineer at Siemens.
Jacob is an Electronics Technician in our Melbourne office, serving a senior position within our in-house production team to ensure optimal service and repair protocols.
Jacob was formerly Instrumentation and Electronics Technician at GM Holden for five years, currently plays for the Werribee Tigers in the Victorian Football League (VFL), and has a Certificate III Engineering Electronic Trade from RMIT University.

Jérôme is a Swiss national with diverse skills in data science and exercise physiology. He has held PhD and post-doctoral roles at the University of Glasgow, whereby he has perfected a rather unique French-Glaswegian accent.

John has been Director of IWRX Pty Ltd for over 15 years, and was previously an engineer at GBC Scientific Equipment. He has a degree in Science, Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from Monash University.
John is a Product Support Engineer for the US, based out of our Chicago office. He is primarily responsible for ClearSky installation and client support.
John comes to Catapult with a BS in Electrical Engineering and a diverse background in software development, computer architecture and networking, wireless communications and system engineering. He has an extensive background and has held a number of leadership roles.
Jozef is a Sport Scientist based in Catapult's Leed's office. As a Sport Scientist, Jozef educates and supports Catapult's EMEA and LATAM clients and serves as a consultant in the areas of performance, injury mitigation and return to play.
Jozef earned his BSc (Hons) in Applied Sports Science from Northumbria University. Prior to joining Catapult, Jozef worked in the Middle East performing sports science Performance Analyst roles for successful football clubs in the region. Along with football, he has a keen interest in tennis.

Matt joined Catapult from Prozone Sports, where he was a Product Support Team Leader and Product Support Technician for their soccer clients, and was previously an Advanced Microsoft ICT Apprentice with BBC.
Michael is our APAC Product Performance Technician in the Melbourne headquarters, responsible for communicating with clients regarding support issues and helping advance their use of Catapult, as well as helping with field testing and development of products.
Michael joins us from Carlton FC (AFL), where he was a Sports Science Analyst for over three years, and has only spent two weeks in Europe despite holding a European passport.
When not in the Leeds office, Michael is on the road assisting sports scientists and helping clients make better decisions based on Catapult data.
Michael joined us from Prozone Sports, where he was a Performance Analyst and Sports Scientist and an integral member of their Performance Lab, and has played cricket against Callum Ferguson, Aaron Redmond, Shane Harwood and Friedel de Wet - the latter two knocking out his off-stump for a duck.

Mike joined us from our UK distributor, Perform Better, where he had extensive use of Catapult. He is a former junior international volleyball player and is now a keen surfer who likes to tie his enjoyment of the waves in to his passion for travel and exploration.

Miranda undertook an MSc degree in Sports Engineering at Sheffield Hallam University and is currently studying for an MPhil in the mechanics of the breast to alleviate exercise-induced pain. Miranda also has a Bachelor of Exercise Science from Aberystwyth University.
Mohammed is a Data Scientist based in Catapult's Chicago office, developing big data fueled insights and solutions for our clients.
Mohammed completed his PhD in high energy physics at the University of Florida. His focus throughout his graduate and postgraduate education was on modeling the building blocks of matter from the data collected at the Large Hadron Collider.
Monica is our HR Coordinator based in Chicago, managing US employee relations and recruitment, and supporting global HR initiatives.
Monica is an HR specialist, with certifications from the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) and the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM). Previously she was the HR Team Lead for The Jacobson Group, where she supported more than 400 employees, and a Corporate Recruiter for Groupon.
Nam is a Mobile App Developer in our Melbourne office, working on OpenField applications and developments. As well as working on the reporting functions of the software, Nam is involved in the development of future mobile applications.
Nam has a Bachelor of Software Engineering in Computer Software Engineering from Deakin University, and previously worked as a Software Developer at Discount Domain Name Service.
Nate is a Sports Performance Manager for the Northeast region of the US. He is focused on managing current clients, as well as expanding our professional and collegiate client base in the region.
Prior to joining Catapult, Nate played professional soccer for 7 years in the US and Sweden. He was an Executive/Technical Director for soccer academies in China and New Zealand. Nate and his wife have two children, Nyla and Adler.
Nawaf is Catapult's Accountant for the APAC region. A former external auditor for Crowe Horwath, Nawaf has commenced his CPA qualification in Australia. He earned his Bachelor of Commerce and Administration at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand.
Born in Kuwait, Nawaf lived in Iraq, Jordan and New Zealand before settling in Australia. He enjoys weight lifting, cycling, hiking and swimming as well as photography.
Nick is a Sports Performance Associate based in our Chicago office. He works primarily with elite high school and youth program.
Nick is a graduate of the University of Arizona, where he earned a degree in Broadcast Journalism. Prior to joining Catapult, Nick found success in ticket sales for professional sports teams on the West coast. When he's not working, Nick enjoys snowboarding and mountain biking.
Patricia is a Product Technician in our Melbourne office, preparing quality and manufacturing documentation, testing hardware, maintaining service and repair protocols, and assisting in the development of engineering solutions testing of prototypes.
Patricia was previously a Lab Technician at Elektrika Pty Ltd, and held several account executive roles in Colombia after graduating from the Universal Institute of Technology UIT.
Paul is our Head of Europe, responsible for driving business development in the key UK and European markets. Paul delivered innovative ways of assessing performance during his 13-year tenure with Prozone Sports as Head of Analysis Services, UK Account Manager and Senior Account Manager.
Paul also served as Senior Performance Analyst for Middlesbrough FC when they won the 2004 Carling Cup and achieving the club's highest ever top flight finish.
Paul is our Business Development Manager for the APAC region, working particularly with Australian football teams and Catapult partners around Asia.
Paul was previously Sales Director at Sky Technologies, Sales Executive for Data Systems International and Account Manager at IBM Australia. Prior to his professional career, Paul played for Hawthorn FC (AFL) for over 11 years and won the 1991 Norm Smith Medal in a Hawthorn premiership.
Penny is an accountant in our Melbourne headquarters, managing all European accounts.
Penny is one of Catapult's longest-serving employees and plays an integral role in the culture of the company and enhancing the professionalism of our Australian team. Penny doesn't follow any sports teams ("I know, I shouldn't be working here"), loves holidays with her family, and was a nurse for 15 years before going on maternity leave and becoming a bookkeeper.
Phoenix is Executive Assistant for our Australian headquarters, quarterbacking all event arrangements, travel coordination, meeting preparation, administration duties, and diary management for Catapult's senior management team.
With a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics, and a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc) in Physical Education, Phoenix is a Collingwood FC (AFL) fan and "collects weapons".
Rhonda is a Non-Executive Director, having held the positions of Chairman and President of Novell Asia Pacific, a global provider of Information Technology.
Rhonda was awarded the Victorian Telstra Business Woman of the Year in 1999, was Managing Director of the Australian Call Centre of the Year-winning Global Customer Solutions, is the Founding Chairman of the Victorian Women in ICT network, and is Chairman of the Victorian Government Purchasing Board.
Richard is General Manager at CRC Recruitment, the firm responsible for all Catapult career opportunities. He has been in his current position for over 18 years, bringing expertise in new business development, account management, recruitment and management to finding superstars for the Catapult team.
Richard and his team bring a wealth of knowledge and professionalism to our recruitment and human resources departments.
Rob is Head of Software Development, overseeing OpenField's engineering. He was previously an Executive Producer and Project Director at THQ, a developer of product for video game consoles.
Rob also served as Creative Director at LucasArts Entertainment Company, where he was an integral part of George Lucas' video game development. He was the project lead for 'Star Wars: Episode 1' and designed and wrote several games that sold in the millions.
Roderick is Sports Performance Manager for the Southeast of the United States, overseeing all professional and collegiate accounts in the region.
As a strength coach for over 13 years prior to joining Catapult, Roderick has coached over 60 athletes who were drafted by NFL and NBA teams. During that period, Roderick was Co-Director of Strength and Conditioning at Florida International University, as well as Associate Head Strength Coach at the University of Tennessee.
Ryan is our Director of Business Operations for North America, overseeing our regional technical support, sports science, and data science departments, with a product development link back to Australia.
Ryan joined Catapult from STATS LLC, where he held positions as Associate Vice President, Director of Baskebtall Products, Director of Marketing, and US Sport Product Manager. Ryan has an MBA from DePaul University.
Sarah is a Sports Data Scientist in our Chicago office, greatly enhancing the specificity and intelligence of the data obtainable from our technology.
Sarah earned her PhD in Biomedical Engineering at Northwestern University, where she helped develop a validated computational biomechanical model of the thumb. Sarah has had six peer-reviewed articles published and has a patent for a diagnostic device for determining mechanical integrity of bone.
Shaun is the CEO, Co-Founder and strategic leader of Catapult's global operations. Shaun started Catapult after obtaining government grants from the Australian Institute of Sport and negotiating the IP license from the Cooperative Research Centres (CRC).
Inventor of eight patents in athlete tracking, Shaun was previously Technology Development Manager at CRC, working in biotechnology, telecommunications and environmental MEMS sensing for viticulture.
Shawn is our Product Performance Technician in the Chicago office, managing all inventory, maintaining logistics and scheduling for installations and upgrades, supporting clients, and managing domestic and international product shipping.
Shawn was previously a Help Desk Analyst for the Cleveland Cavaliers, a Help Desk Assistant at Stark State College, and a video editor at KOAT-TV and WTWO-TV.
Simona is an accountant in our Melbourne headquarters, overseeing all US accounts and daily financial operations for our Chicago team.
Simona hails from Romania, follows FC Dinamo Bucuresti (Liga 1, Romania), has an MBA in Accounting and Economics from Victoria University, did ballroom dancing for 12 years and in 1999 was runner-up at the European Championships for Latin dances, and is Catapult's unofficial 'plants watering manager'.
Srinjoy is our Global Product Manager, working closely with our US and UK teams from our Melbourne headquarters.
Srinjoy was previously in the IoT/M2M team of Telstra. Prior to that he was at Samsung Mobile and NEC in the UK and Asia. Srinjoy has a postgraduate degree in Business Management and an Honours degree in Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering from Monash University.
Steve is our Head of APAC, managing Catapult's objectives for the Asia-Pacific region with a team of dedicated staff out of the Melbourne office. Steve was previously Head of Europe for two years as he spearheaded our UK-based operations for the EMEA regions after starting as a Sports Scientist in Australia.
Steve believes his only claim to fame is that he bowled out Paul Collingwood and Graham Onions in an English T20 match.
Sumith is a Quality Assurance Engineer based in Catapult's Melbourne office, driving web, desktop and mobile software product excellence through QA planning and testing activities.
Sumith has a Masters in Computer Application. He is also certified by the International Software Testing Qualification Board (ISTQB) and is a Microsoft Certified Professional. Prior to Catapult, Sumith was a Senior Engineer at Advanced Micro Devices and a Test Engineer at Gaming Laboratories International.
Tim is a Business Development Manager for Catapult's EMEA team, based in Stuttgart, Germany, and building relationships with prospective clients around Europe.
Tim is CEO of Before Results and Owner of Export.Co, and was previously Associate Partner at CMC Consulting AG, as well as working in several positions in business development. Tim has also has an MBA from the University of Bradford, is a licensed football coach and an ex-semi professional player.
Tom is our Business Development Manager for the EMEA region, providing high quality sports science support to existing and prospective clients, and enhancing the integration of Catapult in to the sports industry throughout Europe.
Tom previously worked as a Sports Scientist for the Houston Rockets, Sports Science Officer for Great Britain Basketball and Chelsea FC, and played in an Under 16 English basketball National Cup final.
Vijay is our Business Development Manager for the Middle East and the GCC. Vijay is also the Owner and Executive Director of VR8 Sports Performance Consultancy.
Vijay was previously the Head of Nutrition for Aureas Sports Management, Director of Nutrition for Bespoke Wellness, Nutrition Account Manager at Mefitpro, Health and Fitness Project Manager at SPark LLC, and Head of Nutrition at u energy.
John is our Director of Business Operations EMEA and LATAM. Split between London and Leeds office.
John oversees 4 key areas for the EMEA team; Sport Science services, technical operations, data science and also acts as the product owner for the region linking back to the development team in Australia.
John has a degree in Sport Science and has previously worked as a performance analyst at Norwich City, Middlesbrough and the Ivory Coast before moving into product management at ProZone. He then spent 8 years at Opta and laterally Perform Group working in product management and business development roles focused on data and video analysis services to professional teams.
Catherine our Accountant in the Leeds office and is responsible for Finance in the EMEA region.
Catherine is currently studying for AAT Advanced Diploma in Accounting having already gained AAT Intermediate Diploma in Accounting, CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting and a First Class Bachelor of Arts Degree (Health Sciences and Social Services) specialising in Psychology
Catherine has a background in Auditing, Commercial Property Management, IT Financial Systems training and Private Healthcare. Originally from South Africa and has been in the UK for the past 5 years. Cat has been known to run ultra-marathons and marathons, the most notable being the Comrades Marathon in South Africa - 90km (56miles)
Karl is our Global Head of League & Data Partnerships based in the Leeds office.
Karl was previously an Executive Vice President for Rights and Data Strategy at Perform Group, a leading digital sports content and media group and brings significant experience procuring and managing rights deals and data commercialisations with elite and professional sporting leagues globally.
