European Champions Cup winners Saracens extend performance agreement with Catapult

Saracens, recently crowned rugby union’s European Champions Cup winners for the third time in four seasons, have extended their agreement to use Catapult technology to track and improve team performance.

As reigning European champions and four-time English Premiership winners, Saracens have used Catapult solutions to support their recent successes. The extended agreement will see the club become the first Premiership rugby club to use Catapult’s new Vision video analysis platform and Vector, our latest wearable technology.

Catapult’s wearable devices contain sensors that collect a vast range of technical and physical data points, including scrums, tackles and impacts in rugby. This information is used to support coaches as they make crucial decisions around injury risk and athlete rehabilitation. Meanwhile, Vision is used to synchronise Saracens’ wearable data with video, bringing added context and insight to their analysis.
