Catapult and Big 12 to premiere new post-game highlight service for student-athletes
Catapult, the global leader in team sports technology, and the Big 12 Conference announced the launch of a new turnkey highlight service for student-athletes. All men’s and women’s basketball players participating in this week’s Big 12 Conference tournaments will receive personalized highlight packages at the conclusion of each game. The highlight packages will be distributed to each team and, from there, schools will have the ability to share with student-athletes for use on their social media channels.
Catapult VP of Licensing, Ben Godwin, believes this service could be a valuable resource for schools and student-athletes.
“Each year, the Big 12 Conference tournaments feature great games and memorable performances,” Godwin said. “As the demand for snackable content continues to grow, we feel student-athletes should have access to their best plays immediately following the game. We’re working to give college athletes the ability to share their most memorable moments with family, friends, and fans before they even leave the arena.”
Already used by multiple teams, including the University of Kentucky men’s and women’s basketball teams, Catapult is providing athletes access to authorized, high-quality highlights which capture what they just accomplished on the court or field.
