Gloucester Rugby extends performance agreement with Catapult

Gloucester Rugby have extended their performance agreement with Catapult for a further two years.

The Gallagher Premiership side will continue to use over 50 of Catapult’s S5 devices across their first team and senior academy squads.

Competing in the English top-flight and Heineken Champions Cup, Gloucester will primarily use Catapult’s technology to help optimise performance, reduce injury risk, and support return-to-play processes.

Dan Tobin, Head of Performance at Gloucester Rugby, said: “We’re pleased to be able to extend our agreement with Catapult. Catapult’s technology is a key component of our athlete monitoring processes at Gloucester and we look forward to further developing our performance infrastructure over the seasons to come.”

Sam Raven, Business Development Manager at Catapult Sports, said: “We’re delighted to have extended our agreement with Gloucester Rugby. Gloucester are one of the biggest names in club rugby and we look forward to working with them over the coming seasons as they compete at the very highest levels of the game.”
