Two Decades of Sports Science in Football: Dave Carolan

Catapult’s recent UK football performance workshop at Villa Park featured a presentation on the history and development of sports science by Dave Carolan, a leading practitioner with more than 20 years’ experience in the field.

Drawing on his experiences to narrate the evolution of sports science in football, Dave’s presentation was divided into six key sections:

Hosted regularly to cater for different sports and locations, Catapult’s workshops are an informal opportunity for knowledge-sharing and networking among sports science practitioners.
